Casio EXILIM EX-FH25 and EX-FC150 High Speed Cameras

Casio has recently introduced its latest superzoom cameras to its Exilim lineup to focus on low-light image quality.Casio Exilim EX-FH25 and Casio Exilim EX-FC150 compact both have backlit CMOS sensors borrowed from the Sony TX1 and can take in more light, improving the detail both for night scenes as well as portraits of backlit subjects. Both cameras accordingly have dedicated scene modes. The Casio Exilim EX-FH25 remains the flagship with 20X optical zoom and 10 megapixels, though it can drop to 9 megapixels to shoot at 40 frames per second, up from the FH20’s 7 frames. Both it and the 5X zoom FC150 can shoot 720p video and have hardware image stabilization.Casio’s first release plans have both cameras shipping to Japan on November 27th for estimated prices equivalent to $558 for the FH25 and $447 for the FC150.As the company already sells their predecessors in the US, an American release is likely for both but hasn’t been discussed.
