Ek ShAm TanHai Ki

Mera dil bohat udaas hain

Yeh raatain be sukooN haiN

Yeh din be aaraam haiN

Mujhe mohabbat ki pyaas hain

Mera dil bohat udaas hain

Go ke tu mujhse bichar gaya

Mera chean bhi mujhse le gaya

Na jaane kyu phir teri aas hain

Mera dil bohat udaas hain

Tujhe bholne ki jab koshish ki

Haqeeqat ko samajhne ki koshish ki

Yun laga tu kahiN aas pass hain

Mera dil bohat udaas hain

Zindagi aise dourahein par aayi hain

Ke sirf maiN aur meri tanhai hain

Yeh kesa ajeeb ehsas hain
