Dukh dard meN hameshaa nikaale tumhaare khat
aur mil gayii Khushii to uchhaale tumhaare khat



sab chuuDiyaaN tumhaarii samandar ko sauNp diiN
aur kar diye havaa ke havaale tumhaare khat



mere lahuu meN guuNj rahaa hai har ek lafz
maiN ne ragoN ke dasht meN paale tumhaare Khat


yuuN to haiN beshumaar vafaa kii nishaaniyaaN
lekin har ek shae se niraale tumhaare khat



jaise ho umr bhar ka asaasa Ghariib kaa
kuchh is tarah se maiNne sambhaale tumhaare khat



ahl-e-hunar ko mujh pe Wasii etraaz hai
maiNne jo apne sher meN Dhaale tumhaare khat
